Perth Radio Survey 3 results released

GfK_Perth_S3-2015-1.jpgNova 93.7 and hit92.9 have enjoyed good results in the latest GfK Metro Radio Survey.

Mix 94.5 remains the outright leader with a 13.5% share P10+, underpinned by a 20.1% share of its key 40-54 demographic.

Nova 93.7 is the #2 commercial station P10+ with an 11.3% share, however most pleasing for the station would be its 16.3% share of 18-24s and 20.3% share of 25-39s.

The rebranded hit92.9 is the #1 commerical station for 18-24s with a 16.8% share, up 4.2% from Survey 2. However, it has some ground to make up in 25-39s, where its 9.6% share was an improvement of 0.3% but still well behind Nova, 96FM (15.4%) and Mix 94.5 (13.0%) amongst the commercial stations.

6IX enjoyed rises in P4-54 (6.2%), P55-64 (12.0%) and P65+ (10.7%).

6PR suffered losses in those three demos but was still the #1 commercial for P65+ with a 16.9% share.

In the all important Breakfast slot, Nova was the #1 commercial station with a 12.3% share, just ahead of Mix 94.5 with 12.0%. Nova book-ends the working day, being #1 in Drive too with a 14.0% share.

Mix 94.5 leads during the day with 15.0% share for Mornings and 14.5% share for Afternoons.

Nova recorded another Cumulative Audience of more than 500,000 people with 525,000 People 10+ tuning in to the station, while Mix 94.5 recorded the highest Average Audience of 29,000 People 10+ per quarter-hour.
