PADC Dates for 2011: AGM and Bowling Night, Festival of Ideas Weekend and PADC Awards

The PADC Committee have been busy securing dates and venues for this year’s AGM, Festival of Ideas Weekend and Award Night Show.

After last year’s Bowling Night AGM being universally lauded as a roaring success, it will be returning to the Rosemount Bowl on Thursday 26th of May, with the AGM kicking off at 6pm.

Put this date in your diary and join us for some very healthy financial reporting and some very fierce inter agency rivalry on the lanes. The PADC will be sending out further details prior to the 26th but for now, put your thinking caps and your bowling shoes on and start getting your teams together.

16 teams only with 3 people per team so don’t miss out –  first in, first served.

New committee members would be welcomed with open arms so if you are willing and able to join, please don’t hesitate to send your nominations in to Karen Marks at admin@padc.com.au by 29 April 2011.

The Festival of Ideas Weekend will be taking place on the 10-11th of September. A change of venue is being considered along with an expanded speaker line up so again pencil the date in and keep your eye out for further details.

The PADC AWARD entry submissions will be due on August 5th.

For the Awards night, the PADC is planning a change of venue and a different approach to the evening’s entertainment so book Friday 14 October into your diary and watch this space.
