PADC BRINGS BACK BULLSHIT BAND NIGHT – FRIDAY, AUGUST 22

Bullshit Band Night is back baby. What’s Bullshit Band Night you say? And why are you calling me baby? Well, calling it a Band Night is actually bullshit; it’s more of an ‘anything goes’ night. And by ‘anything goes’ we’re talking about performance talent, not disrobing on tabletops with a can of whipped cream. Let’s back up. To put it plainly – this is a night for advertising and design type people to get inebriated enough to get on a stage and do funny/embarrassing shit in front of their colleagues. Singing, dancing, ventriloquism, pole-work, mime, poetry, live-piercing – as long as it doesn’t involve ping-pong balls you’ll be fine.

You’ll be up against some pretty talented and some pretty deluded contenders, but remember, Dutch courage makes almost anything possible. We’d like to keep performances down to 20 mins max and are hoping for about 10 – 15 entrants. This is the return of what will once again become an annual industry highlight. Plus, there’s a cool trophy.
