Open Spaces Productions, Perth scores four finalists in LIA Production & Post Production
London International Awards (LIA) has today announced the shortlist for Production & Post-Production and Music Video. Australia has scored a total of 11 finalists with Perth production company Open Spaces Productions leading the company pack alongside Finch Sydney with four finalists each.
Open Spaces has been shortlisted twice for Drug Aware WA “Relationships” in Direction and New Director, once for Drug Aware WA “Crime” in the New Director category and for St John Ambulance “The Most Important Thing” also in New Director.
All four spots were shot by Perth director Matt Pitcher.
Diane Jackson, chief production officer at DDB Chicago presided over a venerated jury composed of Adrian Bosich, Francois Brun, Anna Fawcett, Oliver Fuselier, John Spary, Stephen Venning, and Jacqui Wilkinson.
A total of 114 entries have been shortlisted in Production & Post-Production. The United Kingdom dominates the field with 41 shortlisted entries, with United States (25) and France (10) also faring well.
In Music Video 15 entries shortlisted. The United States dominated with 12 entries making it to the final round, with the United Kingdom and Canada following suit.
Winners will be announced on 2nd November.
