While the Barnett Liberal Government seems to have disappointingly muzzled the Office of Road Safety in Western Australia, that’s not the case in New Zealand. Here’s a fantastic road safety message that everyone should see…
No one should pay for a mistake with their life, as demonstrated in the latest dramatic spot for NZTA via Clemenger BBDO, Wellington. The idea behind the ad is when we drive, we share the road with others, so the speed we choose to travel at needs to leave room for any potential error.

They don’t seem to be doing anything. Not seen anything since that enjoy the ride campaign.
There have been a lot of good road safety ads. This one is right up there with the best of them. Well done to all concerned. Powerful, simple, and just bloody marvelous.
