Nine Perth launches Here Come The Habibs

Elie’s Tent in Victoria Park was the venue for Channel Nine Perth’s media launch of new comedy Here Come The Habibs on Thursday night.

They’ve just won the lottery, now Lebanese-Australian family the Habibs are moving from the ‘burbs into Australia’s richest suburb and living the Aussie dream. But to their new neighbours, the old-money O’Neills, this means war!

There was plenty of shoulder-shimmying as more than 80 guests joined in the fun with Kat Hoyos (Layla Habib), Tyler De Nawi (Elias Habib) and co-creator Rob Shehadie (comedian and Fat Pizza).Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson from Australia’s Got Talent was also there, along with the Mayor of the Town of Victoria Park, Trevor Vaughan.

Here Come the Habibs premieres on Tuesday, February 9, at 8.30pm.
