News_Futures_BLOG_12.jpgTrust and ‘PGC’ – Professionally Generated Content (versus User Generated Content) – were the key themes in News Corp Australia’s 2018 Come Together News Futures presentation yesterday.

Lou Barrett, Managing Director National Sales (pictured left) and Andrew Cook, General Manager of Sales for The Australian and News Prestige Network (below) joined WA Group Sales Manager Marissa McNish and her local team to showcase News’ range of media and content opportunities to 100 advertisers and agency representatives at The Westin hotel.

The presentation highlighted how News Corp has leveraged its newspaper mastheads and developed a strong portfolio of digital media and new business units including content marketing agency SUDDEN.ly, News Native Network, and NEWSamp creative solutions studio, designed to deliver seamless and holistic campaign management across all News Corp properties.

Barrett said with brand safety a key issue in the digital world, News Corp’s professionally generated content guaranteed an engaging, effective and brand-safe environment for marketers.
