New campaign pushes Bankwest’s WA roots
Bankwest has launched a new campaign to promote its Western Australian heritage. Created by Sydney-based Host, the campaign is spearheaded by a television commercial that was shot locally at the end of last year.
The campaign website – wa4ever.com – highlights the bank’s historical links and ongoing partnerships with Western Australia: “We’re really proud to have been a part of the fabric of WA for more than 115 years and we’re making a long lasting commitment to stay at the forefront of banking in Western Australia.”
The campaign comes in the wake of Police & Nurses aggressive push against ‘eastern states owned banks and building societies’ (Bankwest is owned by CBA).

does anybody honestly believe that a bank cares about making people happy?
what a fkn ridiculous concept.
Maybe the “ongoing partnerships with Western Australia” should be extended to their ad agency relationship.
