More press success for Ad Impact
Hot on the heels of their PADC success, Ad Impact has won Community Newspaper Group’s ‘Bend the Rules of Press’ competition.
The competition was run to highlight the many creative space options advertisers have within Community Newspapers.
Ad Impact’s idea for WA Opera, created by Mark McDonald and Neil Martin (now with Marketforce), is designed torun on the TV Guide page. The ad is a nice small space idea, relevant to the client and media placement. It will be published for free in all 17 CNG titles and the agency and creatives will share the $3000 cash prize.
Runners-up were another Ad Impact concept for WA Opera and an extension of the current West Coast Fever campaign by SHEDcsc.

Well done lads that’s a great piece of work and a well deserved winner. However the victory pales into insignificance when compared to the mighty All Blacks moment of triumph as they were crowned champions of the universe at Eden Park last night!
Great work.
lol the kiwis can’t celebrate that win mate…that’s a loss…1 point to the French…pfff
Nice work lads – Drop the first three words off the headline (and possibly the word ‘truly’), before you start entering it though.
boys, you and your ads are seeming to be the flavour of the year and quite deservedly so! nice work, once again. and i agree with ‘what i’d do’ about dropping the first three words. 🙂
A wins a win Da. I’m sure you had a Wales of a time coming third!
Cant go to the opera on a Tuesday so can you please put the curtain back down for a quick sec?
I like it. Agree that it’s too wordy though.
For what its worth , I’d lose the red curtains at the side as well -doesnt seem to make sense having them as well as the curtain made from the type.
Lovely work.
Wonder if the Sunday Times will come up with a comp next?
