mix94.5 goes back to #1 in Radio Survey 6/2018
mix 94.5 has gone back to the top of Perth radio in the sixth GfK Metro Radio Survey for 2018, released today.
mix took top spot with a P10+ share of 14.1% to reclaim the top spot after nova 93.7 had been #1 for the previous two surveys.
Nova 93.7 dropped back to #2 with a P10+ Share of 13.5%.
In third position, hit92.9 was the only other station with a P10+ Share in double-figures at 10.8%.
96FM was #4 on 7.2%; 6PR was on 6.9%, while 6IX recorded 4.8%.
Despite a drop of 0.4%, Nova 93.7 once again took top spot in Breakfast, with Nathan, Nat & Shaun recording a Share of 14.6%, while mix94.5’s Clairsy, Matt & Kymba enjoyed a rise of 1.3% to 13.9%.
Hit92.9’s Heidi, Xavier & Ryan recorded the biggest rise in Breakfast, up 1.1% to 11.3% and the #3 position.
They swapped with 6PR’s Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas, who dropped 1.0% to a 10.1% share.
They were the only commercial station Breakfasts with double-figure shares.
96FM’s Paul & Lise recorded 6.4% and 6IX’s Tim Gossage was on 3.7%.
Nathan, Nat & Shaun recorded the biggest Cumulative Audience (372,000) followed by Heidi, Xavier & Ryan (314,000) and Clairsy, Matt & Kymba (255,000).
Nova recorded the biggest P10+ Cumulative Audience with 580,000 listeners, while hit92.9 recorded the second-biggest with 516,000 followed by mix94.5 with 490,000.
mix 94.5 recorded the highest Average Audience (P10+) of 30,000, ahead of Nova 93.7 on 29,000 and hit92.9 on 23,000.
Amongst commercial DAB+ digital stations, Nova Entertainment’s SmoothFM led the way with a Cumulative Audience of 34,000, followed by Southern Cross Austereo’s Buddha Hits with 28,000.
