Mitchells’ “Sizzle for Flood Victims” moves venue due to huge response

Advertising, media, and production people are once again demonstrating their generosity, forcing Mitchells’ organisers to move their “Sizzle for Flood Victims” to more controllable, licensed premises.

This Thursday January 20th from 4pm, the giant industry fundraiser will be held at the Cambridge Bowling Club, located just west of the Floreat Forum Shopping Centre.

Remember, every dollar raised will be matched by Mitchells.So far Mitchells have received offers of assistance and donations to ensure it will be a milestone event.

Beer, wine, sparkling, soft drinks, sausages, burgers and more have all been donated. The sponsors are too numerous to mention here but they’ll receive the recognition they deserve in due course and we’ll be asking you to support their brands.

Mega Auction

Mitchells have already received offers of some significant auction items but the more the merrier. If you or any of your clients can provide auction items it would be greatly appreciated.Media packages, accommodation, travel, electrical goods, art, entertainment – whatever. Bring your wallets and purses because there will be some insane bargains to be had.

Lawn Bowls Lightning Carnival

On the day enter your team of four in the bowls comp. Entry fee $20 per team – cash only, no EFTPOS.

Food and Drinks $20 per person

On arrival look for a Mitchells person and for $20 get your wrist band which entitles you to all your drinks and a hotdog or burger. We’ll be providing beer, wine, sparkling, soft drink and water but the club’s bar will also be open for those looking to purchase something more exotic.

Bring your clients, friends and heaps of cash (No EFTPOS available). Please practice responsible drinking and nominate a skipper, arrange a pick-up or catch a cab.
