Mitchell joins SCA as Campaign Creative Director

MitchMitchell_BLOG.jpgSCA Perth has further established its reputation for creativity and effectiveness by appointing Mitch Mitchell (pictured) in the role of Campaign Creative Director.

Mitchell will head up the local Creative team here in Perth, leading SCA Perth’s local creative output. Sales Director, Noel Quick, said that he will be a huge asset to SCA Perth.

“With Mitch’s appointment and our recent announcement of Amanda Ash in the role of Campaign Ideas Director, SCA Perth can now offer our clients best practice in ideation and creative client solutions under the banner of The Studio, a national initiative which will work closely with our clients to generate ideas for fully integrated solutions.”

Mitchell has worked as a Senior Copywriter at Marketforce, The Brand Agency, Rare Creative and Gatecrasher, creating campaigns for City of Perth, RAC, Curtin University, Perth Zoo and St John Ambulance, and more. He won the Southern Cross Austereo ‘Radio Writer of the Year 2014’, has seven ‘Best of Year’ Campaign Brief Awards, two Golds at the National Outdoor Awards, Finalists at New York Festivals and D&AD, plus six Silver and nine Bronze at the local PADC Awards.

Mitchell will be working closely with Matt Dickson, who is now in the national role of Head of Creativity for The Studio at SCA. Mitchell said he was delighted to be working with SCA Perth.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Matt’s work over the years, especially in regards to his radio writing and we’ve talked about working together on numerous occasions. The timing’s right for me to take on a new role and I’m looking forward to being surrounded by inspiring, talented people. And guitars. They told me they have guitars.”
