Marketforce shortlisted at Clio for Tasty Tunes

TastyTunes_Clio_BLOG.gifCity of Perth Tasty Tunes by Marketforce has been shortlisted for Audio Technique in the Sound Design category at the Clio Awards.

The campaign, which won Best of Show at last year’s PADC Skulls, uses the frequencies and sounds in 3 tracks – Sweet, Bitter and Salty – to demonstrate how sound can intensify and augment the flavour of food and drink.

It was produced by Soundbyte’s Brad Habib and Andrew Wright (now at Forest Studio).

Australia has secured a further seven finalists in this second round of shortlisting, bringing the total to 25.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has led the Australian agency pack with three finalists. Clemenger Melbourne’s Myer ‘Wonderful Hold Music‘ has been shortlisted in Audio, its TAC ‘The Rider Reminder‘ has been shortlisted in Product Design and the agency’s ‘Hungerithm‘ work for Snickers has been shortlisted in the PR category.

Photoplay Films is a finalist in the Film Technique category for MND Australia ‘The Fading Symphony‘; FINCH Sydney has been shortlisted in Film Technique for St Kilda Film Festival ‘Every Second Counts‘ and Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney’s ‘LandCruiser Emergency Network‘ campaign for Toyota LandCruiser has been shortlisted in Product Design.

Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced on September 12 on the new Clio platform clios.com. Select Gold winners will be elevated to Grands to be announced and presented on-stage during the event on September 28 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
