Marketforce realigns as Senior Partner Colin Mackay-Coghill departs the agency
One of Perth’s best known account directors, Colin Mackay-Coghill, has left Marketforce after two years, finishing up with the agency last Friday.
Marketforce chairman John Driscoll said he had worked closely with Mackay-Coghill over the past two years but it became apparent they were heading in different directions so it was decided it was best to part company on amicable terms.
Mackay-Coghill was appointed as Senior Partner in May 2012, and played a prominent role in Marketforce’s new business push over the last two years, including leading the agency’s successful pitch for Curtin University last year. He’s also represented the agency on the The Communications Council in WA, being one of two Deputy Chairs and a member of the local executive committee.
“I’m incredibly proud of Marketforce’s turnaround over the past two years and the very talented people who’ve made it happen but it’s now time for a new challenge,” said Mackay-Coghill.
Prior to joining Marketforce, Mackay-Coghill was operating his own consultancy, Renegade Marketing Communications, after spending 12 years at The Brand Agency.
Driscoll said Mackay-Coghill will not be replaced in the immediate future, with his account responsibilities to be covered by the existing account service team.

How refreshing, a press release that tells the truth for once. So much better than ‘left to explore other opportunities’ or ‘was time to focus on family.”
