Following the recent account review Marketforce has retained the City of Perth account for the next three years with an option to extend the contract for a further two years.

It’s great news for the agency that has held the account for the past four years, and developed the current successful “Where Everything Comes Together” campaign. The agency was reappointed to the account following a public tender process.

Recognised as one of WA’s most diverse and prestigious advertising accounts, the City of Perth account covers a full spectrum of activities – from tourism destination marketing to promotion of retail activity and special events through to parking and public notices.

The City of Perth Council report recommending Marketforce’s appointment stated: “Marketforce’s successful tender can be attributed to its staffing commitment to the City of Perth account, its exceptional experience in destination, place and event campaign marketing and its demonstrated processes.”

As the City of Perth’s marketing partner, Marketforce’s appointment covers a full range of marketing disciplines, including strategic marketing and consulting services, advertising, digital and social media marketing and media planning and buying.

Marketforce Chairman and Chief Executive John Driscoll said a key component of the account going forward would be the development of a new positioning for the City of Perth.

“Over the past four years the City of Perth has seen significant growth, and there are exciting new developments on the horizon,” he said. “With this in mind, we’re looking forward to working together to create a new campaign that captures the vibrancy and ongoing evolution of our city.”

Driscoll said the decision by the City of Perth was an affirmation of the positive changes and reinvigoration taking place at Marketforce : “The City of Perth is a wonderful client to work with, and we are delighted to be continuing our successful relationship as their marketing partner. I am delighted that the City of Perth has recognised the positive changes that have been implemented at Marketforce.  Our re-appointment is a strong endorsement of the strategic, creative and digital strengths of our agency.”
