Marketforce facing three account reviews

Marketforce is facing a review on three existing accounts – City of Perth, Scitech and Mrs Mac’s Pies.
A regular 3-year state government review is underway on the City of Perth account with tenders currently being called for. Scitech is believed to be talking with up to five agencies and Mrs Mac’s also about to commence a review process.

Word is scitech and mrs macs are already out the door.
I heard what 9.14 heard.
No surprises there!
Still loving those gran cans
9.14 and 10.40 no surprises there really. You do have to feel for MF though. Reading anything about them right now is like watching Days of our Lives!
None of them are worth much except for City of Perth. Don’t know if any of the big agencies are interested.
You forgot Road Safety in October
MF will just lose the business, fire a load of people – 80% of whom are dead wood anyway – become smaller and leaner, start focussing on doing good work rather than servicing big-baby clients and become the place to be again. At which point the whole process will start over again with poison chalice clients knocking at the door and trojan horse employees joining the payroll. If the past 20 years are anything to go by, in Perth the bigger you get, the worse you get as an agency. Good luck to Marketforce. They’re going to need it.
Maybe they should consider a name change-they’re hardly a ‘force’ these days
I wonder how much crap like that above would be posted should CB abandon the anonymous option. If it appears I may be guilty of the same crime, I agree. What I’m posting however isn’t spiteful, backstabbing comments from those with seemingly no idea. “word is”, “I heard” – what rot. Unless you’re within this agency or the account, I doubt you know anything.
Many agencies go through tough times, seldom have been at the forefront of the WA market for over 30 years. What Marketforce have given to OUR industry can’t be measured and I believe it’s about time we all offered a little more respect.
I wish all involved the best of luck, there’s still plenty of talent (contrary to 1:37’s naïve ramble) on show at MF.
For the record I don’t work at MF or any other agency for that matter.
A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle.
I don’t work at or have never worked at MF, but I’ve been in the industry for nearly 20 years. Ever since I can remember MF have been THE agency, consistently topping billing and creative charts. Watching their demise unfold is like witnessing the end of an era
Could not agree more 12.28.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we all focused on improving the quality of Perth advertising, rather than spending our time trying to destroy the competition through anonymous pathetic digs.
12.28
Spot on.
12.28 Well said.

Who the fuck uses umlauts in their posts – anonymous or not?
You reap what you sew or you are what you eat?

I believe you’re referring to a diaeresis which, the last time I checked, belonged on naïve
I don’t work for MF but just wanted to say that MF has been around for a long time and all you ANONYMOUS bloggers can get stuffed.
