Lotterywest marketing communications account in play with Early Tender Advice released

Lotterywest.jpgLotterywest’s marketing communications contract statutory review process has commenced, with an ETA (LWT00914ETA) posted on the Tenders WA website that the tender is expected to be advertised on Friday, February 13.

It’s coming up for five years since the last formal review was commenced, which saw the business split between Meerkats, Longtail, Spirit and Mitchell & Partners.

As one of the state’s most prestigious accounts, it will be another keenly contested tender. The ETA says the review will be conducted in two parts – Stage One being ‘Credentials and Case History’ for shortlisting followed by Stage TwoCampaign Capability Tasks’ for shortlisted agencies.

However, if history is any guide, it won’t be a quick process. The last tender was released in January 2010 but the appointments weren’t announced until September.

Lotterywest’s long-serving and well-known CEO, Jan Stewart, announced her retirement from the organisation last year and will be replaced by surf lifesaving administrator, Paul Andrew, next month.
