Lorimer looks to the next chapter

SteveLorimer_Oct2016_BLOG.jpgSenior Art Director Steve Lorimer, who exited The Brand Agency last month, is ready to “get stuck in” after having taken a short break with his family.

Over the past decade, Lorimer has established a strong reputation as an art director, with award-winning work at Ad Impact, Marketforce and The Brand Agency. He came to prominence in 2007 at Ad Impact with the Midalia Steel ‘Pet Fences’ press ad, was a member of Marketforce’s formidable creative department under Andrew Tinning, and spent the last five years at The Brand Agency partnering Murray Laird.

Along with Laird, he was sixth in this year’s Campaign Brief WA Creative Rankings. Lorimer said he felt it was time to move on and was happy to leave on a high note.

“I’ve created some campaigns I’m proud of for the agency’s clients, like the St John Ambulance ‘Not The Time’ radio spots with Murray, UWA ‘Pursue Impossible‘ and Kleenheat ‘Less talk, More Energy’ to name a but a few. There are some great people at the Brand and I’ll miss working with them but it’s time to refresh and look at some new opportunities.”
