The new program is being funded by the Department of Health (WA) and delivered by the Heart Foundation (WA) in collaboration with the Cancer Council (WA). The program will help address the weight problems and obesity in WA, and aims to contribute to increasing the proportion of adults and children meeting the national guidelines for healthy eating, physical activity and healthy body weight.

“We’re delighted to be working with such an iconic brand as the Heart Foundation on such an important social change project,” said Longtail CEO Carlo Bertozzi (pictured). “The ability of the digital platform to drive ongoing engagement with the program will be crucial, and we can’t wait to roll that out.”

Campaign Director Melanie Fineberg said: “We’re incredibly excited about this new program and the unique opportunity it represents to address the epidemic of overweight and obesity in Western Australia. The intention is to create new, effective work that will help drive real change in this area and we’re delighted to be working with Longtail on this project.”

“What we were able to do in this pitch is start from the ground up and build an idea that will support the user wherever they are,” Creative Director Josh Edge explained. “It’ll be pretty inspiring to see an advertising channel become so integral to someone’s life.”
