Longtail looks east for its first Sydney campaign

Longtail_SydneyUni_Train_BLOG.jpgAt a time when Perth agencies are struggling to consolidate their business at home, Longtail has recently launched its first Eastern states integrated campaign for the University of Sydney.

Longtail won the through-the-line business in a competitive pitch against two Sydney agencies earlier this year. This campaign is the first to roll out of an ongoing postgraduate strategy for the university.

Longtail_SydneyUni_Printx3_BLOG.jpg“This was an exciting win for us, and didn’t require us to partner with or acquire another entity in the east to facilitate it.” said Carlo Bertozzi. “It’s a clear demonstration of our ability to build digitally led campaigns that roll through-the-line, and of Perth agencies to remain competitive on the national stage. We’ve also shown our ability to play in the offline space with our press, outdoor and experiential work integrating into the online work.”

“The University of Sydney was a great chance for us to stretch our creative across a huge range of campaigns, from the university’s postgrad program and faculty-specific campaigns to Tedx Sydney and the 2016 Indigenous Students campaign” saidJosh Edge, Creative Director. “I think it’s safe to say that this is one of the largest production exercises we’ve undertaken this year, and we’ve managed to make it through with our sanity and sense of humor intact!”
