Kurt Beaudoin resigns from Meerkats to return to Canada after more than seven years in Perth

Meerkats’ senior creative Kurt Beaudoin has resigned and is relocating back to Canada so that his children can be closer to their family.
Beaudoin (left) has enjoyed a stellar career in Perth with Meerkats, rising to the creative director position before stepping back to 4 days a week senior creative role earlier this year. He has previously topped the Campaign Brief Perth Creative Rankings and has been involved in creating some of Meerkats’ and The Brand Agency’s most awarded campaigns.
He joined Meerkats in October 2008 after first arriving in Perth and The Brand Agency in June 2007. Beaudoin will start at ZGM in Edmonton in early March next year. More details on this move as they become known.

Be careful, Andrew. Kurt doesn’t like ‘Greatest Hits’. He prefers the artistic integrity of an album. You should ask him to take you through his matrix of albums and where they sit on the scale of being true to the creative intention of the artist. It all makes sense until he talks about how great Adam Sandler movies are and then you realise his judgement is highly questionable.
But thanks Kurt, I’ve always enjoyed the time I spent with you. You’re a great bloke and you’ll be missed.
