PADC_Skull_BLOG.jpgThere are 3 events around this year’s PADC Awards to make a note of.

FESTIVAL OF IDEAS – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14

To make the most of the stellar cast of creative professionals the PADC is bringing to Perth to judge this year’s award entries, they will once again participate in the annual Festival of Ideas.

Judges and keynote speakers will give a talk at a one day, collaborative workshop. This year’s inspirational judges include Matt Eastwood, DDB Worldwide New York, and Subha Naidu, Together Singapore (unfortunately Gary Tranter, Made By Arcade Singapore, is a late withdrawal but the PADC is working hard to replace him with someone equally dynamic). They will join keynote speakers George Wright, Future Services – Fairfax Media, and Ben Green & Pat Lennox from Marketforce.

All workshop participants will attend lively sessions presented by the speakers with a chance to discuss and collaborate on some of the latest trends and issues in advertising today.  More information will be revealed shortly.

This year’s Festival of Ideas will be held at ‘The Deck’ at Little Creatures in Fremantle, kicking off at 9am on Saturday 14 September, followed by drinks and an informal dinner.

2013 PADC AWARD ENTRIES – DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21

Call for entries are open now. For the first time ever, in partnership with AWARD, 2013 PADC Golden Skull Award winners will receive automatic, free entry into the relevant 2013 AWARD category, a national event.

2013 PADC AWARD NIGHT (FRIDAY NOV. 1) – BOOKINGS CLOSE OCTOBER 19

The 2013 PADC Award will be presented at Fraser’s State Reception Centre on Friday, November 1.  The PADC Committee is working hard to make it another a great evening but seating will be limited to 290 people this year so don’t miss out.

RSVP’s will close on 19 October so book your tickets early here.  N.B. Early Bird ticket prices are available until 1 October. After that prices go up.

This night is a celebration of creativity not egos and survival for both clients and agencies, particularly with 2013 having been a very tough year, not just locally but also globally.
