J Walter Thompson Perth creative team Wilora Keeley and Tim Newton have taken out the Campaign category in Round Two of the national Siren Awards.

Their winning entry was for the WA Police Union, for which the duo has created several award-winning campaigns previously.

Titled ‘How Much To…?’, the campaign of three spots is part of the Union’s lobbying for a 1.5% pay increase. It highlights real situations police officers have confronted and asks how much people would want to be paid to put themselves in those positions.

It was recorded at Sounbyte and engineered by Brad Habib. Agency producer was Nikki Bentley and the clients were Jessica Porter and Steven Glover.

The Single category was won by The Monkey’s Grant Rutherford with an ad for Parmalat, while the Craft category was taken out by Eardrum’s Ralph Van Dijk and Paul Taylor for HSBC Home Loans.

A spot for Lotterywest – ‘Hotel’ – by Marketforce duo Joe Hawkins and Neil Martin was Highly Commended in the Single category, and a spot for ECU – ’42nd Street is in town – written by The Studio at SCA’s Aussie Moore and engineered by Carl Step and Zachary Taylor was Highly Commended in the Craft Category.
