IKEA returns home to 303
IKEA Perth and Adelaide have returned to advertising agency 303 – the past creators of its most highly creative and effective work. 303, which have a proven track record of producing work that delivers results for IKEA, will work initially on the 2012 catalogue launch.
IKEA Marketing Manager Nigel Richardson said “303 understand our brand and the changing market dynamics in the retail sector and have a collaborative approach that gives them a significant advantage when working with a client like IKEA.”
“We’re excited about renewing our relationship with 303 and launching the 2012 IKEA catalogue campaign in September.”
303 Group Managing Director, Perth, Alan Taylor (pictured) said: “Ecstatic would be a massive understatement. We worked with IKEA for over 11 years. When we parted ways it always felt like a little piece of us had gone. To be reunited is such a great testament to the team and our offering.”

apparently two wrongs can make a right
Congratulations to 303.
Fantastic!!! Great news, well done 303!
Who’s that smug looking bastard?
enjoy the ride.
Yeah! Please, please, please don’t fuck it up by pitching on Bedshed again.
Good for them and I’m sure 303 will be able to cope and get the client back on track. It was a nightmare at Marketforce so keep in mind it’s not the organised account you used to have.
There IS a god.
Is this Perth advertising’s real poison chalice after all?
…303, which have a proven track record of producing work that delivers results for IKEA, will work initially on the 2012 catalogue launch, then once they have gotten us out of that little pickle, we can start looking for a new agency.
Ouch.
Sing a song of sixpence,
A pocket full of rye.
Four and twenty meerkats,
Baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened,
303 began to sing;
Ikea is a dainty dish,
to set before our king.
Whilst RARE was in thier counting house,
Counting out thier money;
Alan Taylor was in the parlour,
Eating bread and honey.
What is 303 turning into the detention centre for naughty clients?
Happy inside.
Haul em in, Lasso Boy…
Congrats 303. I work for a media agency here in Canada working on IKEA and I love the client. Enjoy the work you will eventually create!
Media to 303 too?
Well done lads!
Sad for Meerkats, but at least the account isn’t going over East…
Hi 12:17 – Not sure why your blog needed to be anonymous? Our Media buying stays at OMD. Cheers Nige.
@ 3.38pm, you really should put your name next to such humorous poetry…
Congrats to 303, great news! Em
Congratulations 303 and well deserved.
How wonderful, so that means we can preview the 2012 catalogue tomorrow?
That would make sense to me given the old catalogue ends tonight?
We all know WA stands for Wait Awhile – how about changing that (the US one is out already).
Just for a change lets be daring, its not like another company is going to steal your thunder?
Oh and not making prospective customers wait for the next catalogue – they come out every 12 months – its not like its a surprise or anything!!!
Don’t suppose you could do anything about the out of stock items?
Its the 15th of August and the old Ikea catalogue has expired.
I can find the Canadian one, I can find the British one, I have seen the American one and the Spanish one too.
I have even looked at the East Coast version but I appear to have lost the the Western Australian one!
