Twlogo.pngIn a major coup for Meerkats, Campaign Brief hears they have been reappointed to the huge iiNet national account.

The appointment is not officially confirmed, but it is very likely the brand and strategic work currently handled by Belgiovane Williams Mackay Sydney will be returning to Meerkats.

Meerkats resigned the business in September last year following a change of marketing direction that saw Belgiovane Williams Mackay appointed to the roster for the digital and B2B work for iiNet. The subsequent agency review saw BWM gain the bulk of the iiNet brand work and saw Marketforce appointed to customer retention and relationship marketing. Marketforce’s role is expected to continue.

Meerkat’s started working on some project work for iiNet a few months ago following the departure of iiNet’s chief marketing officer, Wendy Walker.

An official statement from iiNet is expected later today.
