Ian + Erick shoot Forrest for Wall Street Journal

IanErick_WSJ_BLOG.jpgPhotographers Ian and Erick Regnard were recently commissioned by The Wall Street Journal to photograph Fortescue Minerals Chairman Andrew Forrest. The New York-based financial paper did a feature story on Forrest’s humanitarian work and mission to eradicate poverty.

The brothers report Forrest arrived fashionably late for the shoot, and refused to wear anything other than his own suit, much to the disappointment of stylist KT Crocker.

The photograph and story appeared in June.

Ian + Erick have recently opened their own studio in a huge former warehouse in Old Aberdeen Place, West Perth. While the majority of their work will continue to be location-based, the brothers said the studio will give them extra flexibility, particularly for international clients who often want to shoot both environmentally and in-studio.
