Humaan wins two national Australian Web Awards; WA agencies and projects dominate
Perth digital agency Humaan won two Australian Web Awards at the national finals in Sydney over the weekend. Humaan were the only agency entrant to have picked up multiple awards.
The win marks the second successive year that Humaan have picked up multiple national awards. It is also marks consecutive wins for Humaan in the Commercial category, this year winning for the Skydive Jurien Bay website.
Humaan also picked up the award in the Education category for Curtin University’s THRIVE project. THRIVE is an online alcohol intervention research tool commissioned by the WA Centre for Health Promotion Research.
Humaan creative director and co-founder, Jay Hollywood, said that the awards were a great endorsement of the agency’s premium design-driven approach.

It was big night for WA, winning 9 of the 11 categories. Besides Humman’s two wins, The Western Australian Museum took out the McFarlane Prize for Most Outstanding. They won the Government category and the Mobile category.
eCommerce was awarded to Just in Time Gourmet, by Clever Starfish.
Tim Oliver won the personal category.
Juicebox Creative’s Strut Dance won Culture and Events.
And Clarity Communications and the WA Dept of Agriculture & Food took out the Social Media category with Buy West Eat Best.
