Hel’s Belles to honour Helen Filov in Weekend to End Women’s Cancers 60-kilometre Walk

Helen Filov, one of the most popular and loved media professionals in WA, passed away suddenly in May this year after being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia just two and a half weeks earlier.

In memory and in honour of Helen, friends and family have formed a team named Hel’s Belles to participate in The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers 60-kilometre Walk.

The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers benefits the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. The two-day, 60km walk through the neighbourhoods of Perth will be a challenge, but they’re ready to do something bold and powerful in effort to end women’s cancers once and for all.

Hel’s Belles are aiming to raise $14,000 and they’re nearly half way there.
