Guy promotes production in the south-west as part of Your Margaret River Region campaign
Well-known producer Shelley Guy worked on the recent Your Margaret River Region launch video for Block Branding. Knowing the region so well and having easy access to all the great resources in the south-west region, from locations and talent to production facilities and crew, it was an easy fit for Guy to produce the video, especially as Block wanted to use creative and production talent from the region.
Guy has been living in Dunsborough for 14 years and teaches yoga there but is still very much a part of the WA TVC production scene. She has put together most of the bigger productions that have come to the region in the past few years, including a national campaign for Mt Franklin sparkling water featuring Jennifer Hawkins.
She has written about her work on the Your Margaret River Region blog, focusing on the TV productions she has done around the south-west. The aim is to promote the area as a filming location and attract more productions to the region to take advantage of its unique characteristics.

I’m a huge Shelley fan. Putting together 20 interviews over as many locations spread across the region over 2 days without missing a beat was a feat to behold.
Shelley’s connections to the great creative talents and locations of the Margaret River Region is something that we should all be exploiting more often – they are the sort of locations that art directors would travel half the world to find and they are right on our doorstep.
