GfK Perth Radio Survey 3/2018 released
The third GfK Metro Radio Survey for 2018 has been released.
mix 94.5 retained its #1 position despite a -1.4% drop in its P10+ share, from 15.6% in Survey 2 to 14.2%.
#2 Nova 93.7 rose +0.6%, to 12.6% and was the only other station in double-figures.
hit92.9 was #3, falling -0.9% to a 9.8% share, while 96FM rose +0.5% to 8.0%.
6PR enjoyed a gain of +0.6% to 7.5% and 6IX was relatively steady, falling just 0.1% to 5.5%.
In Breakfast, mix94.5’s Clairsy, Matt & Kymba stayed on top, despite a drop of -1.0% to 14.0%.
Nova 93.’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun also fell, down -1.2% to 12.7% but stayed #2. Again they were the only stations in double-figures for Breakfast.
6PR’s Steve Mills and Basil Zempilas were #3 on 9.7%, a gain of +0.4%, and were just ahead of hit92.9’s Heidi Xavier & Ryan, who fell -1.3% to 9.6%.
96FM’s Paul & Lise enjoyed the biggest rise of +1.2% to 7.1%, while 6IX’s Tim Gossage consolidated his 1.4% rise in S2 with another gain, up +0.9% to a 5.8% share.
Nathan, Nat & Shaun recorded the biggest Cume (351,000) followed by Clairsy, Matt & Kymba (290,000).
mix94.5 recorded the highest Average Audience (P10+) of 31,000 with Nova 93.7 on 27,000 and hit92.9 on 21,000.
Nova recorded the biggest Cumulative Audience with 601,000 P10+, the first time a Perth station has broken through the 600,000 level. mix94.5 recorded 530,000 and hit92.9 503,000 listeners.
Amongst DAB+ digital stations, SmoothFM led the way with a Cumulative Audience of 44,000.
