Gatecrasher wins Central Institute of Technology (and shares Satterley with Marketforce)

Gatecrasher Advertising has won the advertising account for Central Institute of Technology (formerly Central TAFE) having been selected ahead of four other agencies competing for the business.

As part of the State Government’s mandate to raise the profile of training in WA, Central is rebranding and elevating the stature of the brand. This represents a new and exciting direction for Central, enhancing its position in an increasingly competitive and open training market.

“We won the business primarily based on our previous experience inrepositioning Curtin University and are looking forward to leveragingour skill in this area to launch Central Institute of Technology to themarket in the new year” Adam Barker of Gatecrasher said.

Central Institute of Technology’s recently appointed Head of Marketing,Kelly Townson, says “it is an opportune time to reposition the Collegefor its future. Central is the largest provider of Vocational Educationand Training in Western Australia and a specialist provider ofhigh-level qualifications.  We look forward to working with Gatecrasheron rolling out our new identity and building on the platform of beingnamed WA Large Training Provider of the Year for 2009”.

Gatecrasher managing director Tony Scampoli has advised Campaign Brief that they have also won a share of the Satterley business. He said a release was being prepared by Satterley that would clarify the account split with Marketforce.
