Finals week at Block

Block_Otherside_AGDA_BLOG_1.jpgLast week proved to be a week of finalists for Block. Not only were four of their projects named finalists at the national Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) Awards, their client – the Western Australian Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development – was named the only WA finalist in the Social Media Campaign category at the PR Institute of Australia’s Golden Target Awards for their Plating Up WA campaign.

Block’s AGDA finalists are across a diverse range of categories including Branding, Digital and Craft for clients Otherside Brewing Co., City of Swan’s New Junction precinct and LA-based creative director Ned McNeilage.

“I’m incredibly proud of our team for the passion they have bought to these projects and all that Block takes on,” said Block CD Mark Braddock, “Doing work of this calibre doesn’t happen by luck, but by hard work and a desire by the entire team, not only the creatives, to create work that is smart and considered; that solves the business issue at hand while standing out in market. Ultimately it’s a testament to the power of collaboration within our office and with a great bunch of clients and partners.”
