Faster Horses on the move

Mayne_Rat_BLOG.jpgThe Perth arm of startup insights consulting firm Faster Horses Consulting has moved up Adelaide Terrace from its former address to join Flux’s co-working community.

Managing Director Veronica Mayne (pictured far left) said the move recognises the business’s strong growth over the past year and places it in close proximity to its clients.

“Moving into the closed office space option at Flux provides multiple benefits that align with our image – networking daily with like minded start-ups, creative spaces for building better insights, and tapping into a flexible approach that is a must in managing modern businesses.”

General Manager of Spacecubed, Ophelie Rat (above right) said: “FLUX powered by Spacecubed provides permanent desk and office space, collaborative co-working and events space, and outside coworking space on St Georges Terrace. With companies such as Faster Horses on board, we’re strengthening the diversity of our community providing more and more networking opportunities for businesses looking to branch out and collaborate.”

Mayne said that in today’s fast-paced business environment, filled with uncertainty, all businesses need to be nimble and flexible, irrespective of their industry.

FasterHorses_2016FYInfographic_BLOG.jpg“We’re seeing this in all of our research. Customers are asking for businesses to adapt to their needs and see them as individuals. We are simply adopting this trend by making our work space a reflection of our brand strategy. We want to work with other smart people and learn from them. Businesses that take a protectionist approach restrict their ability to think in a diverse way.”

Mayne said this approach has reaped great rewards, with Faster Horses experiencing triple digit growth from last to this financial year.

Besides the move in Perth, the Horses have also moved to new offices on the east coast. Sydney-based joint MD, Peter Fairbrother, said the move from Barangaroo to a larger space in North Sydney was made to cater to an expanding staff base, and further develop the Faster Horses brand.
