Equilibrium picks-up Forrest Chase
East Perth digital advertising agency, Equilibrium, has been appointed to the Forrest Chase account following a recent competitive pitch.
According to Senior Account Director, Warren Gibbs, Equilibrium won the business by creating an extensive campaign that takes advantage of the target audience’s high uptake of social media, and exploits the unique characteristics of the centre.
“Forrest Chase is a unique retail asset in Western Australia with ahuge amount of passing foot traffic every day. Our initial campaignwill engage and create a dialogue in real time with city shoppers, office workers and visitors to the CBD,” said Gibbs.
“As part of our highly-targeted media mix, developed in conjunctionwith our media partners Mitchells and emitch, we have avoided spendingheavily in the mainstream media and instead created a digital andsocial media campaign supported by strategically placed outdoor, aswell as the new Murray Street digital screen.”
The campaign utilises moving billboards throughout the city areaincorporating MoCom technology, which allows passers-by to interact withthe media via their mobile phones to receive exclusive offers andpromotions in real time.
The Forrest Chase website is currently under redevelopmentincorporating blogs and social plug-ins to extend its reach acrossmultiple platforms.
The Forrest Chase win caps off a good first half of the year forEquilibrium having recently won the Belmont Forum account as well asundertaking major projects for Rio Tinto, The Chamber of Minerals andEnergy, Curtin University, Diabetes WA and Fortescue Metals Group.

Whilst this has nothing to do with this post, you know what pissed me off – when potential clients will not pay for a full-on agency pitch. Wake up Perth. I wonder these poor buggars would have been compensated for all the work they did if they didn’t win. I think not. OK. Carry on.
Congrats guys, very exciting for you and nice to see a smaller agency rewarded for good strategy. Look forward to seeing the creative roll out
Look forward to seeing the creative. Congratulations Equilibrium.
“Create a dialogue in real time.”
“High Uptake of social media.”
“Unique characterstics of the centre.”
Absolute beauties.
Warren if your presentation was full of stuff like that it’s clear why you won the business.
Good for you.
Who was the pitch against?
Gotta say though that digital screen is hideous. Reminds me of walking through the doors at Target – Hardly Galeries Lafayette.
Nothing personal but your branding looks a little ‘Snap Print’ and your print and advertising about on par although I’m sure its all on brief etc.
Love to hear if anybody disagrees.
I’m presuming most of your work is heavily retail.
Good work on the new business win though.
Justine M. What is it you can’t face?
