Donnelly tops 2014 AWARD School in WA
Paul Michael Liam Donnelly (far left) was announced as the top student in WA’s AWARD School last night.
Donnelly was announced as the winner by AWARD School coordinator Steve Straw (near left) at the graduation presentation held at the Little Wing Corner Gallery in Subiaco. Chris Andrawes was runner-up and third place went to Mitchell Crowe-Hardy.
The graduation was the culmination of a three-day exhibition of all students’ work at the gallery.
Also completing this year’s School were Garry Dean, Daniel Robinson, Scott Pritchett, Katherine Neaves, Lizzette van Graan and Nicole Sheavyn.
Besides Straw, tutors for this year included David Saraga (Gettin’ Hectic), Bryan Dennis (Marketforce), Josh Edge (Longtail), Paul Coghlan (Meerkats) and Brad Habib (Soundbyte).
It was great to see such an excellent turnout for the night, with Creative Directors and senior creatives from all of the town’s major agencies attending as well as top production suppliers. The exhibition and graduation presentation was brilliantly organised by The Communications Council WA State Manager, Danielle Norrish.

That Chris Andrawes fellah seems pretty rad.
Congratulations Paul, that work experience 10 years ago is finally paying off. Look forward to catching up again.
