Director of the Year Diamond Skull puts ‘unknown’ Richard Vilensky in the spotlight

Sandbox Director Richard Vilensky took out the Best Director award at this year’s Diamond Skulls Awards announced last night.

Sandbox senior producer, Louise Bertoncini, said while his name might be unfamiliar to many, his work is not.

“You may not know his name but it’s likely you’ve seen his work with campaigns for Bankwest, WA Electoral Commission and Golden Eggs all part of his portfolio of local work – plus interstate campaigns for Land Rover, NSW Transport, Grill’d and FIFA15.”

Bertoncini said things have certainly ramped up for Vilensky in recent months with commercials for HiF, Peppercorn and Internode all in varying stages of production.
