Diamond Skulls for Soundbyte duo

Soundbyte’s Josh Hogan (near left) and Shaun Sandosham (far left) both picked up awards at the recent Diamond Skulls, with Hogan named Composer of the Year, and Sandosham Emerging Craftsperson of the Year.
In the last couple of years, Hogan has written original music for campaigns for UWA, Lotterywest, City of Perth, Tourism WA, WA Electoral Commission and Smart Homes for Living. He is also one half of local Perth act Joni in the Moon, who won the WAM Song of the Year Award for Pop in 2015. He has scored numerous TV, game and multimedia projects, and was the Post Audio Mixer on the TV series Family Rules and Nyoongar Footy Magic. His latest work will feature in a new campaign for HIF to be released shortly.
Sandosham started working at Soundbyte Studios at the beginning of 2017 as a Sound Designer and Composer. Over the last year he has worked on a range of projects from sound design for Barrba Wadbirra, a story about bringing together the WA Police Force and indigenous art, to composing music for the Dark Lord Campaign for the WA Electoral Commission via Marketforce. At Soundbyte he works across a variety of media from advertising to long form to installation pieces for the likes of Water Corporation, Beyond West and Metamorflix.
