Defence Housing Australia appoints Rare and McCann for landmark Fremantle development

Defence Housing Australia (DHA), one of the country’s most successful Government Business Enterprises, is behind a major residential project taking shape in Fremantle.

The landmark development, located between Quarry and Queen Victoria streets, will feature 166 modern apartments, ground floor commercial space and a high amenity public laneway that will connect the project to the surrounding community.

West Perth agency Rare is partnering with McCann Australia to bring the DHA brand to Western Australia and will lead strategy and creative in addition to servicing the account on the ground, while McCann will provide digital and channel planning, along with strategic support.

Rare managing director Callum Mackenzie said the project was “a standout development and a great opportunity to build on our ongoing partnership with McCann Australia to deliver some exciting creative for the sector”.
