Debra Neve exits Dentsu Aegis Network Perth

Carat Perth’s Head of Investment and Activation, Debra Neve, is departing at the end of August, after seven years with the media agency.
A hallmark of Perth’s media and marketing industry, Neve’s 40+ year career spans her native Canada, the UK, and Perth, her home since visiting Australia for ‘a short trip’ back in 1980. Now one of the local industry’s most respected and well-regarded senior leaders, Neve will take some well-deserved time off to consider her next move.
“I’ve had an amazing time at Dentsu Aegis Network (Carat’s parent company). I had the privilege of reuniting with Alan Matthews, then the MD of Mitchells & Partners, in 2011, when he enticed me to join the business. The list of talented people that I’ve had the pleasure of working with since is too long to mention, including co-workers, media, and our clients. I look forward to continuing relationships with many of these people whom I also consider good friends.
“In the seven years that I have worked for DAN, the advertising industry has evolved more than ever before. This has been both challenging and rewarding, and the Carat team have been at the forefront of these changes. I wish Jim (Groves – Perth MD) and the team all the best and continued success for the future.”
Groves, who only recently joined the agency, paid tribute to Neve’s work at DAN and standing within the broader industry.
“Debra has served both her clients and the media industry in Perth with diligence, skill and integrity,” said Groves. “We thank Debra for the contribution she has made, both in regards to the craft and reputation of the media industry in WA, and to the Dentsu Aegis business, and wish her nothing but the very best for the future.”
Neve’s official last day is next Friday, August 31.
