Creative director Glenn Bartlett from Turner International Asia Pacific confirmed as keynote speaker at Emergence Creative Festival

glenn_2013.jpgEmergence Creative Festival have announced that Turner’s creative director Glenn Bartlett will be a keynote speaker at the festival taking place in Margaret River from 19 to 21 February 2014.


As Turner’s creative director, Bartlett is responsible for managing the creative strategy for Turner’s dynamic entertainment portfolio including Cartoon Network, [adult swim], Cartoonito, Toonami, Boomerang, truTV and TCM, while supporting the development of key kids’ franchises such as Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball.

 

With an international career spanning 19 years, servicing an impressive ‘who’s who’ of clients, Bartlett has racked up many industry wins, most notably four Effectiveness awards for his work in China, which include three AMEs and an Effie.

Bartlett’s key clients have spanned a spectrum of global category leaders such as Peugeot & Citroën, Starbucks, Mars, Pepsi, GE, Visa, FedEx, Air New Zealand, eBay Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental, Tourism Australia and Cathay Pacific, amongst others.

 

Prior to joining Turner, Bartlett was the Senior/Executive Creative Director at I&S BBDO/Proximity in Tokyo for four years and earlier in Shanghai for two. There he built the creative team from the ground up, turning it into a world-class creative agency.

 

Bartlett started his career in Toronto working his way up through various creative roles including Creative Director at Modem Media, from where he transferred to Asia.

 

Dedicated to enhancing his time in Asia, Bartlett is undertaking studies in Cantonese and Japanese.
