Count and Van Geyzel nominated for Australian Screen Music Award for The Waler

MDS Audio’s Tim Count & Keith Van Geyzel have been nominated as finalists at the 2015 Australian Screen Music Awards. Count and Van Geyzel’s nomination is for Best Music Score in a Documentary for The Waler – one of four nominations in the category.

Count will be in Melbourne for the presentation ceremony on November 13.

“It’s a great opportunity to mix with the cream of Australia’s musicians and composers and I’m thrilled just to be nominated,” said Count.

Other composers nominated in the awards include luminaries such as Nick Cave and David Hirschfelder.

The Australian Screen Music Awards recognise outstanding achievement on both a national and international platform.
