Cooch Creative art director Aleisha Zappia’s first solo art exhibition, ‘Creatures’ opens this week

Cooch Creative art director Aleisha Zappia is holding her first solo art exhibition, ‘Creatures’, appropriately at Little Creatures in Fremantle.

The 30 acrylic works on canvas have been completed over the past three years and showcase Zappia’s passion for our natural world. The accomplished Zappia, who has previously illustrated a children’s book written by fellow Cooch partner Ron Samuel, admitted to being a little nervous about the exhibition.

“As an art director, you work anonymously. You’re name isn’t on your work. But with my paintings, everyone knows it’s me. I can’t blame ‘the client’. Everything I’ve done was my decision. There’s no excuse and nowhere to hide.”

‘Creatures’ is open to the public from this Friday, September 12 to Wednesday, October 8.

Little Creatures Brewery is at 40 Mews Road, Fremantle, and opens from 10.00am Monday-Friday and from 9.00am Saturday & Sunday.
