Collis to lead Labor ad campaign team

The AFR reports that Labor has recruited the chief executive of Sydney ad agency Murphy & Friends, Mark Collis, to assemble an advertising team for the election, to be based in Melbourne.
Perth born Collis spent two years as a copywriter at Marketforce Perth in the mid 1990s. He is a former national creative director of Leo Burnett Sydney, a creative director at Grey, London, D’Arcy Sydney and Ogilvy & Mather Tokyo, and was the director of innovation, creativity and brand at Telstra until a year ago.
