Chris Eyres resigns from Nine to become Sales Manager for Bauer Media in Western Australia

Bauer Media is Australia’s leading multi-platform publisher, with investments spanning magazines, digital and live experiences. The portfolio includes some of the country’s longest-running and most successful brands including The Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day, TV Week, Harper’s BAZAAR, Cosmopolitan, Australian Gourmet Traveller, Australian House & Garden and Wheels.

Eyres, one of Perth’s most experienced well-known media representatives, will oversee the day-to-day commercial success of Bauer’s brands in the Perth market. He will work alongside recently appointed WA digital sales representatives Media Tonic and Nine Entertainment Co.’s powered to deliver first-class advertising solutions.

Andrea Salmon, Bauer Media’s Director of Sales for Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia said they were excited to have Eyres on board.

Eyres brings to the role more than 20 years’ experience in advertising and media management, including roles at Austereo and most recently Nine Entertainment Co. where he held the role of Group Business Manager working across the Nine Network and alongside Mi9.

His appointment is effective from early 2016.
