Chicken Treat looking to appoint new agency

Agencies are still awaiting final details on the proposed Chicken Treat creative pitch. The business is currently handled by Evo Innovation, whose founder, Vaughan Sutherland, has had an enduring relationship with the account going back 26 years.

Agencies were initially contacted two months ago but recent management resuffles and changes at Chicken Treat has seen the pitch process delayed. It is believed Chicken Treat has been talking to Perth’s small to mid-sized agencies.

Vaughan Sutherland told Campaign Brief that it was business as usual for him until a new agency appointment was made.

A few weeks ago Chicken Treat moved their media planning and buying arrangement to the eastern states with the Perth-based incumbent Media Forte losing out.

Chicken Treat is owned by Sydney-based equity investment firm Archer Capital, who also own Brownes Dairy. Brownes recently completed an agency review that saw the appointment of Meerkats.
