Carat makes senior internal promotions

Carat has implemented a restructure in order to recognise several senior people through well-deserved internal promotions.

Although Tom Martin’s retirement role as general manager is not being replaced, the WA Government account still requires a single, senior person to lead the 10 staff employed on the Common Use Agreement and manage high-level contract and individual departmental issues as they arise. To satisfy this role, James Burke (pictured left) has been appointed as Group General Manager – WA Government. Burke brings 29 years’ experience, the last three years at Carat, to his new position.

To more influentially assist Burke, Nicole MacNeil has been appointed as Group Business Director – WA Government. MacNeil (top right) presently supervises the bulk of WA Government media negotiations, many CUA Contract issues with the Government Media Office and Department  of Finance, as well as a multitude of planning for individual Government accounts.

Kevin Rapose, presently Business Director, (pictured left) is immediately promoted to Group Business Director. 

Christine-Anna Soucek has been promoted to Digital Business Director also effective immediately. Soucek will have an expanding team and responsibilities as the added benefits of diverse digital communications become more apparent and recognized as a complement to clients’ existing marketing programmes.

Debra Neve (pictured right) will now take on line management responsibility for the Digital Team. This will involve oversight of Carat’s  trading position alongside her existing responsibilities within Carat’s national off-line trading agenda.
