CADBURY REMIXES THE GORILLA AD

Gorilla.jpgFallon in London has remixed the original Cadbury ‘Gorilla’ tvc with a new soundtrack. This year’s Cannes Grand Prix winning spot was aired during the final episode of Big Brother in the UK featuring Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ replacing the original ‘In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins.

Fallon also released a remix on the follow-up Cadbury ‘Truck’ ad that originally featured ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen. The new spot, that also played during Big Brother’s final episode, features Bon Jovi song ‘Living on a Prayer’.

Laurence Green, the chairman of Fallon is quoted as saying: “We always had half an eye on doing something with it around the anniversary. We have taken inspiration from the way people have played with it online,”

“We were always going to run the ads again. We could have been lazy and run the same versions, as a lot of old-fashioned advertisers would have, or we could live in the modern world,” Green added.
