Brown a casualty of cutbacks at Linc Integrated
Linc Integrated is the latest agency to feel the effects of the GFC, making several retrenchments across its Perth and Melbourne offices including long time creative director, Steve Brown.
Brown is one of Perth’s most experienced creatives. It was in 1985, while he was at Ogilvy & Mather in Perth, that Brown created Perth’s only Gold AWARD Award winner – the Piper West Flight School outdoor poster. He moved to Batey Ads in Singapore in 1987 before returning to Perth in the early 90s and joining AdLink, where he eventually succeeded Gordon Dawson as creative director. AdLink was taken over by Jung Lautrec & Shaw in 2001, which became the foundation of Linc.
Brown is available for freelance or full-time work and can be contacted on 0409 194 483.

Damn tuff break.
Good luck Steve.
Mighty fine bloke.
Well shit, that sucks to hear. Best of luck out there Steve.
Steve’s a great guy. Good Luck Buddy… bigger and better things for you
Yes, Steve, much bigger and better things await your talent.
Steve, you rock. This could be the best thing that ever happened to you, your talent was wasted and I know you’ll go on to really great things.
Has anyone got Steve’s new email address?
Totally agree with Anon (9.04). Steve is one of the most creative people I know and was a pleasure to work with back in the day. I hope he’s now enjoying a well earned break while he works out what to do next. Best of luck for the future mate!
I’m sure Steve won’t mind if I give his email address for those looking to contact him – brownid@iinet.net.au
As said by so many people, the only way from now on is up to bigger and better things.

Ha, so now they’re looking to replace him.
