Brazilian coffee. White with two
July 14 2011, 5:05 pm | | 34 Comments
The White Room has launched Brazilian coffee for drive-thru coffee brand Muzz Buzz.
Creative Director Damon says “The brief was to sell fun, and maybe a few coffees on the way. It certainly came across that way as a few of the outlets sold out of the Brazilian blend within 24 hours of the launch”.
“Working with the guys at Soul Films was a great experience too, the atmosphere on set was fantastic thanks to Ange, and Martin came with his usual professionalism and humour, which was soaked up by client and crew alike, and I think it shows in the ads”.

Nice spots. Good work guys.
Are they both the same ad?
(Oops, sorry. Link fixed now – Ed)
I wondered who did those…in a nice way of course!
Why would someone say nice SPOTS at 5.57PM on the 14th when the both links only showed one ad and it wasn’t fixed until after 9.05 on the 15th. A little bit eager to comment guys. I suspect a SELF comment.
This ad is is a total disconnect for me.
Starting off with the young girl and then switching to the Brazilian is kind of weird.
I think the football connection is a little limp too – although clearly football and Brazil are usually thought of as a natural pairing.
There would have been far better ways of saying Brazilian.
I don’t even think its that funny
1.14
Maybe somebody HAD SEEN THE SPOTS irrespective of the links posted.
WOW imagine that!
Gee whizz 1.14 you could be onto something!
Those fucking self commenters, they’re gonna ruin our industry.
Self commentators are everywhere on this blog. Love the ads.
Are The ads on air? Never seen them?
Love the spots. Great use of talent. Especially the young guy. When he gets hit by the ball. Funny.
Nice work. Are there more coming?
Big chance of metal at Cannes. Setting the standard. Simple idea, nicely executed.
Agree 7.40. Big chance. Book early to get the best rate at the Hotel Martinez. If you book this far in advance it’s a huge saving. Most bookings come in when the finalists are announced and then the room rates get really expensive. Get in early. Don’t stay at the Carlton. Not that good. The Hôtel Univers on Rue d’Antibes is better.
Why haven’t you shown the press idea that links with this campaign. Smart phone/press idea. You hold your phone over the ad and it reveals a Brazillian. Works on all the other fashion ads in the paper as well. Genius.
I held my phone over it and all I got was this lame ORS spot. 🙁
I was so inspired I just joined the local soccer club and have enrolled in a Brazillian speaking class.
This advertising stuff really works.
I tried the Brazillian smart phone ad and it didn’t work. I then checked in our office and it worked on lots of other phones. The ad should clean up. Congratulations to all involved.
Is there an Iphone app?
Great work. At last, something good coming out of Perth.
Nice work, 8.07., but surely 7.40 wasn’t serious?
The best idea here is the headline for the press release.
I’m sorry, while these spots aren’t crap they’re not that good either. Acceptable maybe, but hardly anything to get excited about (and that goes for both the idea and the execution).
3.20. What about the new Muzz Buzz Brazilian Iphone app? Don’t tell me you don’t like that. it’s amazing.
Don’t agree with 3.20pm.
3.20pm. This is a great campaign. If you’re bold enough to bag it then be brave enough to put your name to it.
Are you kidding 3.20pm? I think you are missing the point of these ads. Humour mate. Capital H.
3.20 is why WA keeps losing clients to to eastern state agencies. Wake up. Celebrate good work, don’t push your hidden agenda on this blog.
Short and sweet -just how I like my coffee
Well done. Hope there are more in the campaign.
7:05 and what would that hidden agenda be? Seriously. … Why can’t 3:20 just be someone who doesn’t think these spots are that good?
6.32 that comment is so dumb. The irony (or hypocrisy) of your “anonymous” statement is more humorous than these fair-to-middling ads.
I think everyones forgot to state the obvious that these spots have done their job and sold the coffee. Good ads and i bet TWR have some happy clients.
“Short and sweet” yep but you see the Muzz ad on the tele of the small girl arguing then the next ad comes on same little girl but distracted drivers ad, again her arguing in the back of the car but then gets hit by a motor bike….
The most obvious use of “Brazilian” seems to have been missed. How about a group of lithe european university exchange students in light cotton miniskirts and no panties, sipping the coffee on the windy day? Just a thought.
1.13pm. That’s more like it.
