Big surge in membership of The Communications Council amongst WA agencies
Reflecting the changing face of the marketing communications sector in Western Australia,The Communications Council has been joined by six new members over recent months.Since increasing its representation in Western Australia, and the launch of services which extend beyond the normal advertising agency model, the Communications Council has seen a 65% increase in membership.
The latest members to join includes start up creative agencies Shedcsc and The White Room, as well as digital agencies the Market United, 3Geeks, branding agency Block Branding and advertising services agencyCampaignMakers.
Member Services & Education Manager for Western Australia, Danielle Norrish (pictured) said: “Local agencies are seeing the benefits in corporate membership through the many member services we offer, as well as the significant local events and opportunities we organise.”
“Given we now cater for the multi-disciplined agency, our services and value extends intoareas such as creative, digital, design, and pr, which we’re demonstrating, attracts a broader membership and ensures our body reflects a significant cross section of the local creative communications industry”.
Current WA council membership is made up of local agencies such as the 303 Group, 3Geeks, Adcorp, Block Branding, CampaignMakers, Gatecrasher, Marketforce, Market United, Meerkats, Shedcsc, Stormbox, The Brand Agency, The White Room, Trilogy and Workhouse.
